As you step into the house, you'll notice a gorgeous staircase and high ceilings. On the second floor, you'll discover an incredible industrial-style kitchen that will inspire even the most experienced chefs. The spacious living area includes a cozy sofa, perfect for larger groups or families. There are also two bedrooms on this floor, one with a king-sized bed and the other with a queen-sized bed. Each bedroom has an additional loft area with a full-sized bed and a private bathroom, providing ample space for up to ten guests.
The second floor also encompasses a fitness area with equipment, ideal for maintaining an active routine during your stay.
Furthermore, our property is eco-friendly, operating entirely on solar power for electricity and water heating. Utilizing solar panels, we offer a unique experience where showers in the afternoon benefit from the day's stored solar energy, providing a refreshing experience. While our approach may differ from conventional methods, it embodies our commitment to an eco-conscious stay, prioritizing sustainability without compromising on comfort.
Amidst its allure and charm, guests should kindly note that another Airbnb resides on the first floor of the building. As you enter the hallway, we ask for your consideration to maintain a serene atmosphere, respecting the tranquility of all occupants.
However, the most remarkable feature of our house is the third floor, which comprises the master bedroom with exposed brick, a living area, and the home's most distinctive attribute: a green terrace garden on the rooftop. Featuring rectangular planters and herbs at your disposal, this 500-square-foot space is a genuine oasis in the heart of the city. A second, separate terrace provides unobstructed views of Old San Juan's vibrant buildings and cobblestone streets, complete with an 800-square-foot lawn, perfect for barbecues with our grill, and a seating area with an outdoor fireplace. The sprinkler system activates at 5 am and 6 am.
Please be aware that the Wi-Fi signal may not be strong due to the building's structure and the prevalent use of limestone. We encourage unplugging and enjoying your stay at this historic home. Additionally, note that since this building contains numerous open spaces, it may accumulate dust from the outdoors.
